Canele (x 6)

A canele is a small French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla with a soft custard center and a dark thick caramelised crust. It takes the shape of a small striated cylinder traditional made of copper. The origins of Canele are very various and not always truthful. The only certainty is that it comes from the region of Bordeaux and has become popular again in the mid 80's. 

This is for half dozen or a dozen canele.
