La Brioche Vendéenne is a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. The brioche is a soft slightly sweet bread delicious for breakfast or with a coffee. Braided by hand, and gilded on the top, this soft, slightly sweet bread is flavoured with rum. Brioche is a bread of French origin whose high egg and butter content gives it a rich and tender crumb.
